Internship

Dear students;

The programs in our school where internships are mandatory are as follows:

Banking and Insurance
Electrical Machinery Maintenance and Repair
Public Relations and Advertising
Mechatronics
Accounting and Tax Applications
Forestry and Forest Products
Civil Defense and Firefighting
Tourism and Hotel Management
Renewable Energy Technician
One of the methods students enrolled in these programs can use to determine their internship placement is the National Internship Program. Students who apply to this program and are accepted to intern within the scope of the program will fulfill the mandatory internship requirement by completing their internships within the specified date range. Students who apply to the National Internship Program but are not accepted to intern within the scope of this program must determine their own internship placements due to their mandatory internship requirements.

Voluntary Internship

The following programs at our school do not require internships:

1. Computer Programming

Students enrolled in programs without mandatory internships can only complete internships on a voluntary basis through the National Internship Program. Students who apply to this program and are accepted will be able to complete their internships voluntarily. This program is the only way to complete an internship on a voluntary basis. Students who apply to this program but are not accepted will not be able to complete their internships voluntarily.

1. Students who will be doing internships must complete the TOGÜ.FRM.014 Internship Application Form (click here to access all necessary forms related to internships, type the form name in the search bar), sign it, and submit it to the student affairs office by June 12, 2026.

2. All students who will be doing internships are required to have received "Occupational Health and Safety" training and to provide documentation of this. For students who have not previously received this training, "Occupational Health and Safety" training and a certificate will be provided by our university during the spring semester. An announcement regarding this training will be made in the coming days.

3. Students must obtain a provision document from the "Health Provision Activation System" on the e-government platform and submit it along with their internship application form.

4. For internship exemption conditions and all other regulations related to internships, please review our University's Internship Guidelines. Please click here to access the Internship Guidelines.
