Technical Visit to the Kocaeli Fire Department by the Civil Defense and Firefighting Program

Students from the Civil Defense and Firefighting Program paid a technical visit to the Yahyakaptan and Kartepe fire stations, which are under the jurisdiction of the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department, with the aim of enhancing their professional knowledge and skills.

During the visit, students received comprehensive information about the fire department’s operational system, incident response procedures, and the equipment used. In addition to theoretical training, practical training sessions were also conducted as part of the program to help students gain hands-on experience in the field.

Practical demonstrations were held during the training sessions on firefighting techniques, search and rescue operations, and emergency management. The students had the opportunity to closely examine the equipment and observe its usage processes under the guidance of fire department personnel.

The Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department Directorate expressed its gratitude to the Yahyakaptan and Kartepe fire department teams for their interest, support, and hospitality throughout the program.
