A farewell program was held for Dr. Yılmaz Ağca, a faculty member of the Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services Department at our Vocational School. Academic and administrative staff, as well as students from the department, attended the program.

The program, held for Dr. Yılmaz Ağca, who contributed to the educational activities and departmental work during his time at our vocational school, once again emphasized the value of institutional unity and collaborative production.

During the program, our Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Sobacı and our Department Head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cemil Gündüz each gave speeches; students and staff also shared their feelings and thoughts. The speeches highlighted the value of leaving behind good memories and positive experiences, emphasizing that every beginning has an end, and every end brings a new beginning.

In the continuation of the program, Dr. Yılmaz Ağca spoke about his years in Niksar and at our vocational school; He stated that the connection he established with the school, the city, and his students held a special meaning for him.

At the end of the program, he was presented with a certificate of appreciation and a plaque by our school administration for his contributions to our college.

We wish our professor happiness at his new post at Trabzon University and success in his future academic and professional life.
