Hosted by the Tokat Forest Nursery Directorate, a technical inspection and applied training event was organized for the students of our school's Forestry and Forest Products Program. The event was carried out within the scope of the "Afforestation and Nursery Techniques" and "Forestry Applications" courses.

Within the framework of the program, theoretical and practical training on sapling production processes in forestry was provided to the students. During the training, briefings were given on mechanization in the nursery, seed sources, seed harvesting and storage, preparation of seedbeds, seed sowing, covering material applications, transplanting operations, planting, maintenance and protection works in the nursery, sapling types, sapling quality, storage and transportation processes, and container sowing techniques.

As part of the educational activities, comprehensive information was conveyed to the students by the officials of the Tokat Forest Nursery Directorate. While theoretical briefings were provided in the first stage, subsequent applied studies were carried out in the field, allowing the students to observe the production processes on-site.

The technical visit contributed to the development of the students' professional knowledge and skills regarding forestry production processes, enabling them to gain practical experience and enhance their professional competencies in line with sectoral developments.

We would like to thank Tokat Forest Nursery Chief Mahmut Polat and technician Emre Seçgin in particular, as well as all the nursery staff who supported the training process, for their contributions to realizing the technical visit and the valuable information they shared with the students.
