he “1st National Firefighter Challenge: Inter-University Disaster Sports Games Turkey Championship,” organized by Ardahan University, was a highly exciting event. Bringing together students from universities specializing in disaster, search and rescue, and firefighting, the competitions were held in individual and team categories.
The Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University (TOGÜ) Firefighting team also competed successfully in the championship. TOGÜ Firefighting student Esmanur Bozkurt, demonstrating superior performance in challenging courses and endurance stages, achieved a significant ranking, securing 2nd place in the Individual Girls Category. This success, achieved in a competition where disaster and emergency preparedness, physical endurance, teamwork, and professional skills were highlighted, once again demonstrated the competence of TOGÜ Firefighting students in both training and practical application.
