An Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training session, organized by the Department of Computer Technologies and planned by the "Professional Analysis" course coordinator, was held in the school's conference hall. Attended by department faculty members, the event aimed to ensure that Computer Programming students are fully prepared for their professional lives and are aware of potential risks in their work environments.

The training was conducted by Lecturer Gökhan El—Head of the Property Protection and Security Department and a faculty member of the Civil Defense and Firefighting Program—and focused specifically on OHS rules applicable to room and office environments, which constitute the primary workspace for software and IT specialists. The session covered industry-specific topics in detail, including the potential effects of prolonged screen use, proper seating postures, office ergonomics, the importance of ventilation in enclosed spaces, and common risks associated with desk-based work. Through this training, future programmers had the opportunity to learn not only about professional skills but also how to safeguard their own health and ensure the safety of their work environments.

Lecturer Muhammet Esat Özdağ (Head of the Department of Computer Technologies) and Lecturer Bilal İnan (department faculty member) attended the event, supporting the students' professional awareness regarding this crucial subject. The productive session concluded with the students gaining valuable insights that will help them become competent professionals equipped with a culture of healthy and safe work practices.
